CROSSFIT GROUP TRAINING

The backbone of the program is traditional CrossFit workouts, focusing on strength, conditioning, and mobility. These workouts combine gymnastics, weightlifting, and metabolic conditioning in varying degrees and durations to create unparalleled results.

From the basic (but all-important) air squat all the way to the very technical muscle up and Olympic lifts, we utilize them all and make it workable for anyone at any level of fitness. We build strength, endurance, agility, technical ability, and general awareness of body and mind by training movements that support functional ability and translate to real life. And of course, there are the aesthetic benefits, too.

Our personal training sessions are the most effective and efficient way to achieve your personal fitness goals, whether you’re just starting out on your fitness journey, or an experienced athlete looking to become a more well-rounded athlete with specialized, individual training.

SPARK

Each day of Spark starts with a “Pre-Charge.” We then roll into our “Align” portion where you will spend some time doing a yoga/mobility flow that also includes some pre-habilitation and re-habilitation movements. The next part of class is where we work on dumbbell and kettlebell movements focusing on basic coordination, balance, and strength, improving your “Balance” overall. Then we’ll work on “Burn,” a 25-35 minute interval/circuit full of bodyweight movements, medicine balls, kettlebells, dumbbells, and ‘cardio’ (jump rope, rowing, etc.).

Finally, we’ll wrap up with some optional “Bonus” work where we’ll do some intelligent core work and extra glute/hamstring drills.

CROSSFIT KIDS

CrossFit Kids is BIG fun for ages 7-12. This program not only translates to physical literacy, enhanced sport performance and fewer injuries, CrossFit Kids also has a positive impact on children’s academic achievement.

It does not matter if your child plays sport or not; this program is meant for all levels. CrossFit Kids always involves a fun warm-up game, a new skill for the kids to learn, and then a workout. We teach the kids about nutrition, the importance of teamwork and we set them up for a lifetime of success in a gym atmosphere.

Our next session begins September 10th. Monday and Wednesday's from 4-5PM. 7 week session is $180 plus GST.

CROSSFIT TEENS

CrossFit Teens workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive and general and can be scaled for any participant at any level. This means that, for the most part, no two workouts are the same, so teens never get bored and the novelty of each workout and keeps them excited about participating. All of the movements are taught safely and effectively under the close supervision of thoroughly qualified CrossFit Trainers.

When fitness is defined as broad, inclusive and general it means that participants will become well-rounded athletes who will be better at any and every sport that they play because CrossFit Teens doesn’t coach them to be good at just one thing. With workouts that can be scaled, CrossFit Teens can equally benefit a teen who is less active or an accomplished athlete by tailoring workouts so that each participant is challenged just enough to deliver measurable results and personal athletic progress.
